gSync for Mac OS

gSync allows you to sync Google Calendar to Mac OS X via the iCal interface.

Gmail sync via IMAP

Gmail offers an IMAP interface which essentially allows you to sync email to and from any device or endpoint which supports IMAP. Here is a list of endpoints and setup instructions.

GooSync for Mobile Devices

GooSync allows you to sync your Google calendar, contacts, and tasks to hundreds of mobile devices including the iPhone. This one works better than most of the other products, and they seem to have good momentum looking at their upcoming features and device support.

Google Calendar Sync for Outlook

Google Calendar also offers a installable client for syncing with Outlook calendar. This is similar to the gSyncit product and is pretty easy to setup and use.

Google Calendar Sync for BlackBerry

Google Mobile offers a download for your BlackBerry to sync your Google Calendar automatically.

Google Browser Sync

Google Browser Sync is a Firefox plug-in that synchronizes browser data such as bookmarks, history, cookies, sessions, etc. This is pretty useful if you are constantly switching computers and want to continue sessions you've already started. It is definitely nice for keeping multiple email accounts open!

gSyncit

gSyncit is a nice little utility for syncing your Outlook calendar with Google. It installs on your desktop and runs on a configured schedule. This worked well for us, although there are some tricks to get two-way syncing to work without pop-ups. Outlook permissions may prevent you from automatically reading or writing certain events. We found a utility called Clickyes Pro that seemed to get around the "..trying to access Outlook" dialog. Not a bad option for Google calendar syncing!

Welcome!

Welcome to GSync! Many of us have struggled for years to find the best way to keep all of our devices, accounts, and other data sources in sync. Between contacts, calendar, tasks, email, photos, videos, etc., it is a constant struggle to find the right products to do it all correctly! As we find or hear about new products out there, we will post them here for everyone to try.
